I had gone to a seminar that talked about self confidence issues that stem from childhood. These past hurts can overtake a person, and can even lead to problems through adulthood. It was not long after that a young girl commited suicide after being tormented by kids unmercifully I decided I had to write 2 versions of this song to cover adults and children. I wanted to share what Scripture says about us being made in Gods image. That we are fearfully and wonderfully made. I am hoping that someone that has these scars can see they were designed by the King of Kings, and he has very special plans for them. God the creator of heaven and earth loves them so much!

As Veggie Tales would say you are very SPECIAL!

Psalms 139:14 Ephesians 2:10 1Thessalonians 1:4
Vs1 Sometime kids at school make fun of me.
When I look in the mirror I don’t like what I see.
Then I remember I’m made in God’s image.
I’m a masterpiece that’s just beginning.

Chorus: People may not know it. No they may not see.
I’m a work of art designed by the king of kings.
My God he loves me and made me his own.
I can stand up tall because I know
that God has Big Plans for me.
Vs2 When I give it all I’ve got and it’s still not enough.
It makes me want to quit to just give up.
Then I remember I am fearfully made.
I hold my head up and I try again.
Chorus Now I know it : same chorus
